For as long as I can remember, I have found solace in art and creativity. In fact, some of my fondest early memories are of learning to paint with my Grandad. I enjoy working in a range of media including acrylic, watercolour and vitreous enamel. My work is inspired by the beauty I notice in the world around me, both natural and man-made. I aim to capture a sense of escapism and peace within my work and hope it will evoke memories of happy moments. I am instinctively drawn to skyscapes, seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes and can be found recreating them on large scale canvases, smaller scale paintings or even copper panels and jewellery.
Over the years, I have completed commissions for a wide range of clients including the large seascape featured in ITV’s Broadchurch pictured below.
I also run small group enamel workshops and thoroughly enjoy introducing others to the art and science of enamelling.
