Thank you for booking a workshop with Kath Williams Art. My workshops are intentionally kept small to provide a relaxed, friendly and supportive learning experience. As each workshop has a limited number of places, every booking is important.
Workshop places are reserved specifically for each participant. Late cancellations are often difficult to fill and can prevent a workshop from running viably. The following policy helps ensure I can continue to offer high-quality, small-group workshops. Thank you for your understanding.
Booking Your Place
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
Workshop places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations by Participants
If you are unable to attend your workshop:
More than 28 days before your workshop: You may choose either to transfer your booking to another available workshop date or receive a full refund less any non-refundable payment processing charges incurred at the time of booking. These charges are retained by the payment provider and are not refunded to me when a booking is cancelled.
Within 28 days of your workshop: Refunds cannot normally be given. However, if I am able to fill your place, I will happily offer either a full refund (less any non-refundable payment processing charges) or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another available workshop.
You are also welcome to arrange for someone else to attend in your place. Please let me know their name and contact details before the workshop.
Cancellation by Kath Williams Art
Very occasionally, workshops may need to be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, severe weather, venue issues or insufficient bookings.
If this happens, you will be offered the choice of:
transferring your booking to another workshop date, or
receiving a full refund.
My liability is limited to the workshop fee. Unfortunately, I cannot reimburse travel, accommodation or any other associated costs.
Health & Safety
Working with vitreous enamel involves high temperatures, specialist equipment and finely ground glass. Your safety is my priority.
Before attending, all participants must read the Workshop Information & Safety Guidelines.
By booking a workshop, you confirm that you:
will adhere to the Workshop Information & Safety Guidelines;
agree to follow all safety instructions given during the workshop;
will wear suitable clothing, including closed-toe shoes;
understand that long hair should be tied back and loose clothing or dangling jewellery should be secured;
will inform me before the workshop of any medical conditions, allergies or accessibility requirements that may affect your participation.
For everyone's safety, I reserve the right to ask any participant who does not follow safety instructions to leave the workshop. In these circumstances, refunds cannot be given.
Age Requirement
Workshops are suitable for adults aged 18 years and over.
Photography
From time to time I may take photographs or short videos during workshops to share on my website and social media. The focus is always on the creative process and finished work. If you would prefer not to appear in photographs, please let me know at the start of the workshop and I will be happy to respect your wishes.
Questions
If you have any questions before booking, or would like to discuss accessibility or whether a workshop is suitable for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm always happy to help.
